At Faith Chapel Ministries Student Ministries, we provide a fun and effective atmosphere that teaches God’s word, promotes spiritual growth and leadership skills and encourages evangelism and service in the community. It is our goal to help students become disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus. It’s what our meetings and gatherings are about. This purpose is how we evaluate our events and retreats.
First, we have to introduce our students to Jesus. We don’t stop there. As it says in Matthew 28, we want to teach them to obey everything Jesus commanded. But, even if we achieve that, we still haven’t reached our goal.
We want to see our students make disciples. This means we won’t stop until we see them helping their friends, siblings, and younger kids in the church become followers of Jesus Christ. We aren’t done with youth ministry when we have a bunch of students who know a lot about the Bible. We’ve reached our goal when we have students mentoring other students to become disciples of Jesus who make disciples. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Student Ministry services are Sunday from 7:00 to 8:15PM. May 21st will be our last youth service for the summer season. During the summer, we have multiple volunteer opportunities and fellowship events. Final details are being worked out now and a calendar will be published soon!
